How To Play
Two players, nine slots. Hold the most slots when the game ends.
-
1The Goal
You and your opponent share a board of nine slots, three by three.
When the game ends, the player who controls more slots wins.

2Your Turn
You are dealt 13 cards: five Level I, three Level II, two Level III, two Level IV and one Level V.
Players take turns, one card per turn. A card has no rules text, only four edge numbers and a Level.

3Capturing
When you play a card face up, compare each edge with the touching edge of the card next to it.
A strictly higher number captures that slot. A tie holds. Captures do not chain.

4Levels And Upgrades
An empty slot takes a Level I card only. Dots in a card’s corner count the cards stacked in that slot.
To upgrade, play a card exactly one Level above a slot you control, including one you captured. It goes on top and captures like a fresh play.

5Rocks
Instead, you may play any card face down on an empty slot as a rock. A rock cannot be captured, captures nothing and counts as Level I.
You may have one rock at a time. Upgrade it with a Level II card and you may play another.

6How It Ends
You pass only when you have no legal move.
The game ends when the ninth slot is filled, or when both players pass in a row. The most slots wins. An equal count is a draw.
-
7The Clock
Each turn has 60 seconds. When time runs out, a random legal move is played for you.
If you drop out, your seat is held for two minutes. After that you forfeit.
To give up a game, tap Forfeit beside the clock twice. Before move six it costs no rating.
